Implied Probability
Odds correlate to probability e.g a 3/1 bet is expected to win one in every 4 attempts, hence the probability is 25%. I find the easy way to calculate this is to divide the decimal odds into 100 which gives the implied probability of the horse winning. Do this for every horse in the race, add them up and you have the full book percentage. The amount over 100 is the overround.
Anyway, back to Winkaw who jumped 6 into 12th.
