What a MASSIVE finale to the month! First off we had elvissss bursting into the places with Foolaad  at a bonkeronius 20/1! He's no fool eh? Up nine he scorched to third.

Then we had GLASGOWCALLING with the 14/1 Stonific  - I guess that's a combination of stonking and terrific. It's a shame his efforts didn't reward him with a promo spot, but he could only scoot up eight to ... eighth!

Wowsers. All top five in double figures profit. That's what we like to see. Biggest well done goes to unluckyStu, who set his stall out mid-month with a 12/1 but really sealed the deal over the last four days with a winning hat-trick. Absolutely cracking stuff!

Must say that until Stuey came along with that late burst I thought top2rated was nailed on. By the middle of the month he was almost out of sight having scored with a 20/1, 16/1, 12/1 and 5/1. Unfortunately the well dried up in the second half and stupot was able to catch him. Still a humungous bit of napping.

Then of course we have elvissss in third with his super last-day strike, followed by de44ek4, who was the opposite of top2 with a deathly dry first half followed by a 16/1, 5/1, 9/1 and 7/1 in the second. Top-class napping.

And finally there's halcyon days. Things must be living up to his monicker at the moment, with four big scores enough to get him over the line, most notably a 20/1 mid-month.

I luvvit when we get big-hitters barging their way upstairs. Of the top five only our champion had a strike rate over 30% - his 46% was the second highest for the month. Top striker posy couldn't in the end get past ninth - 12 winners not enough to breach the promo ramparts. A quiet final week is what did for him.

Must also say a word for our two other winners today: kkkatt with Rathlin Rose at 4/1, leaving him in seventh,  and Wonder Boy finding a 9/4 but still drowning in the deep end.

Thanks to everyone who had a go. Never mind if you didn't make it, you made it a great contest and I hope y'all return fit and well for another spectacular month. Thanks also for all the messages.
