He's only gone and done it again! Our leader Aquarius is on a cracking run that saw him today land Summer Daydream (bit late for that innit?) at a bankbusting 8/1 to edge near the £40 mark. What a fantastic run by the water carrier!

Just behind him now is our shining new star unclepuncle, up one to second with Raising Sand  at 5/1. That's five winners in six now. Raising the bar, never mind sand.

On another great day for scores, stewpot got in on the act with the 3/1 Camelot Rakti,  shooting up to 14th. Shout outs too for PAT'S PLAYTHING and poker player.

4 - Selections may be changed as long as it is at least 1 hour prior to the original race OR if the selection is a NR or deemed invalid ( Rule 3 MUST still be adhered to).

time of race listed 9.09--3.00pm---time changed 2.34pm---less than an hour----if at the end of month---unclepunkle--qualifies in 5th place less than £6 ahead of 6th--that person will be very miffed!

I changed my original selection from Muthmir in the 1.50pm to Dream Of Dreams in the 3.00pm at 9.02am due to the rain. At that point Dream Of Dreams was a general 5/1 shot.
Then after the first race was run half the field in Dream Of Dreams race became non runners meaning DoD was odds-on which was of no interest to me given I am trying to catch Aquarius. I therefore asked to change to Raising Sand at 2.34pm which was still over an hour before the off time of that race.

All totally above board but if it breaks the rules and I am considered to be gaining an unfair advantage then I will call it a day, despite making it six from seven today.

^That would be my understanding too - though I still broke the 1 hour rule so my wrists are duly smacked.

Clearly I have transgressed the rules so to prevent any further issues I'll withdraw my entry for this months competition.

Reged - please remove me from the table and move everybody (except Aquarius) up by one position.

posy, I veered from my usual stand because he was a new entrant clearly ignorant of a rather obscure rule - it even fooled me and TBH I think it's a bit daft! Your continued nagging has possibly driven him back out of the competition (though I sincerely hope not) - a competition that, I have to say, needs good napsters like him to flourish. It has been a constant battle over the years to keep this competition refreshed in the face of many, many withdrawals - I recall someone predicting we'd be down to three divs a while back. You really are not helping that effort.

Ya got a tin ear posy ... there might be a slight problem with the rules BUT this is a free competition ie you win nothing and I get paid nothing for running it. So just lighten up a bit please.  And since you are all over the rules, let me remind you of rule 12:

12 - Quite often things can crop up[/b] that aren`t strictly covered by the above rules (grey areas). In these instances please abide by the individual settler's decision/ruling.

There is an other unwritten rule: if I get really, really cheesed off doing this I can and will quit. Getting close.
