Today we have the first instance I can recall for a long while of someone winning and losing at a stroke. Basil_the_don was an odds-on winner, but it was a dead heat and so he actually lost 4p on the deal. Hard luck Basil, but them's the (bookies) rules. It really was an unlucky 13th!

Three others managed to make a profit though. de44ek4 bagged a 9/4 to skip up three to 11th,

while odds-ons that weren't in dead heats left posy up one to third and madhatter up a couple to eighth.
