We have a new leader ... at last!   It's taken a while.

But first I want to tell you about the terrific strike from hong kong fooey, a humpatious 10/1 better off on Almanack.    But again, so sadly, in the pit of everlasting nothingness the reward for such a fine score was a meagre three-spot jump to 19th.   Sorry about that mr f; if I could bump you up more I would. Great strike anyway.

Back up top WELLIN continued his recent good form with My Escapade  at a saucy 11/2.   Again, a one-spot rise hardly seems enough, but in this case he couldn't go any further, because it was to the very summit, leaving him nearly four squidlies ahead of the previous incumbent, whose name escapes me for the moment ... oh that's right, Winkaw, who has been our numero uno from the start of the month with that stonking 33/1. Nary a winner since, though, which is why he has now been usurped with just three days to go!

Couple of other nice winners. Basil_the_don bagged 9/2 on Big Country  to climb five to seventh,   one ahead of 2/1 winner nellie1970, whose nag almost got lost in translation ... not 'the great' nell, 'the saint'. Good grief!   Anyway, well done all our bank holiday winners.
