The start of another month/year of placepotting. The rules are simple, daily stake of £9.60 with a minimum perm of 16 and maximum of 96. i.e. anything between 16 x 60p and 96 x 10p. All welcome to enter, the more the merrier.

Lampus didn't seem too happy going to Southwell but he takes the honours today with his 40p of their £119.90 pot, but it is not enough to take the lead this month as Posy nabs a 30p share of Chelmsford City's £58.30 pot to hold on to 1st place.

It was looking very easy for Lampus at Chepstow until the last leg, but it ends up as another blank day.
Posy's tactic of going for the all weather meetings pays off as he gets a £72.00 return from his £2.40 share of Wolverhampton's £30.00 pot to more than double his lead this month.

£3.70 does seems very low especially with the favourite being unplaced in the last!

Lampus told us it was too easy and indeed it was for him with his 80p share of Cheltenham's £33.60 pot helping him to narrow slightly the gap at the top of the table

It's a funny old game Aq, having won in December you never got going this month. Chances are you'll hose up in February. Anyway thanks for running this comp;even though there are only three of us it's good fun.
I have been trying to get my handicap mark down for Cheltenham!
