Just the one winner on a day dogged by non-runners. It was only evens, but enough to move travelling man up from fourth to third!

So well done to the fabulous five who go off upstairs, and especially to our champion, pedro39. He had just four winners all month, but they were 7/1, 5/1, 12/1 and 9/1. Them's real winners. Splendid effort.

barstool had five to get his second place, 15/2, 10/1, 13/2, 3/1 and 8/1. Again quality counted.

Talking of quality, travelling man has always been a great trooper and returns to greater things with a more steady approach: no blockbusters, but he kept 'em comin to the last and ended with the month's highest strike rate of a little over 52%. Super stuff.

And well done too to motseel and deadbrain59, the latter just a smidgin behind KC, ooops tm, with a bang on 52% strike rate. These two are no strangers to the big upstairs and I wish them good fortune on their return.

No final day hard luck stories - it was a clean fight. But well done to everyone for trying and I hope we see you all back refreshed for the new month!
