Well done to those that had a good go today. It almost came off, at least for travelling man - the latest of a month full of big-hitters - with 20/1 on Colourbearer.  Sadly, it was not quite enough to get him over the line, shifting him up 14 to eighth, just over a squidly short of his goal. Hard luck KC.  Two others qualified as nearly men: lead on with a 9/4 that put him up two to sixth, less than a quid short. and madhatter. But in his case it's congratulations for managing NOT to get promoted despite a winner - his avowed intention. How nice that he likes it here so much. Oh and congratulations on achieving the highest scoring rate of just shy of 60%. Phew!  What a month - almost wall-to-wall big hitters. And biggest big hitter was our champ, hong kong fooey. He hit a 20/1 in week two and followed that with headline scores of 6/1, 8/1 and 14/1. to finish just above the £50 mark. That's the mark of a champion-and-a-half. Second-placed postmannick was no slouch either. After a quiet start - matched by an equally quiet end - he banged in 16/1 and 12/1 among his six scores. Bwillyant!  Third-placed carrot1960 was the day's final scorer with a 5/4. His tally includes a 16/1 and 10/1. Fidway in fourth had his own big strike with a 12/1 while gutfeeling started the month with a 10/1. That was one of our stellar months. Very well done guys. In all we had 13 winning naps of 10/1 or higher, not all of which ended in promotion. It was tough to get into the top five this month.  Hard luck to everyone else but many thanks for taking part. You all make this div a fun place. I would just like to point out that, of all the 'premiership' participants, only the winner managed a final total that would have got him into the top nine in our division.......
