The final day was marked by a titanic struggle for the championship by three outstanding contenders. First to strike was one of the runners out of the mini me stable, Ickle Paddy with an 11/8 that put him in pole position. But that only lasted for a couple of hours as elvissss hit home with Ballyboker Bridge  at a commanding 9/2 to take over. It was down to twm to see if he could wrest back his crown. Almost. His selection was leading over the last, but didn't have the puff to fend off a couple of rivals at the finish. Splendid stuff.

Well done promotees on winning a spirited competition that went to the very end: elvissss whose winners included a 16/1, Ickle Paddy with the top strike rate of 50%, twm who scored a great 12/1 at the start of the month and only lost the crown on the final day, lowrider with a strong showing until the last week or so of the month, and Poppydog, scorer of a 10/1 at the start of the month who sealed his promition with a great hat-trick in the closing days. Hope you all prosper in your new home.

Hard luck to everyone elsed but February is another month and all to play for.  Hope you've enjoyed being in the competition as much as I have enjoyed sorting out all your naps and I really look forward to seeing you all again for February's tilt at the top.
