Guys in his opening post Norfolk was simply explaining the unfortunate situation with in-breeding that he's had to live with all his life, and the fact that every day he has difficulty counting all mini me's selections on his webbed fingers and toes.
That was pretty much all he said really.

madhatter • January 5, 2016 10:58 PM GMT I definitely think mini me should be asked to explain why he always posts for so many people. Who are all these people?! - they obviously don't all pick their own horses or they wouldn't all end up with the same selection every day. Is it just one person with 18 accounts? Or do they all live in the same house or attend the same classes at school or live in a commune? Happy If you don't post for yourself then you should lose a pound or use a grace day.
... the rest is off-subject but can be viewed on the Div 3 thread

The op certainly has a point. In my view this competition should be individuals and not teams playing against each other. An opening 12/1 winner for a stable of 6 names effectively kills that month's competition for everyone else.

I see Reged has asked for opinions so I will give mine
Each individual goes about it differently picking a selection on roughly a daily basis, & that to me is the crux of the matter, it should be an individual comp one person picking a selection, ok some people may have more than one user name & may decide to post with more than one name, well that is ok to a point but at least the selections are usually different, I suspect some people have multiple user names which to me devalues the comp to a point & if this is then abused by selecting the same horse in the same division so when six becomes one its really making a mockery of the whole comp, has Mini Me lost interest or maybe has possible time restraints either way posting for 18 supposed different players is not really in the spirit of the comp.

A thought occurs. Presumably these are all separate identities so what's to prevent someone logging-in and out 18 times and posting the same nap for each identity? Would be entirely within the rules and difficult to query.

I will be seriously impressed if all 18 ever end up in the Premiership at the same time!
Good luck mini me
PS You know, I'm starting to think TheNorfolkMafia is a bit of troublemaker!

Only 18 selections from the 'mini me' stable today!
Why don't you f*ck off and start your own division?
Take a look at today's Division Two table!Oh, by the way, my OP read,Only 18 selections from the 'mini me' stable today! Why don't you f*ck off and start your own division?
I will add my bit to the debate - I've just posted this on the Div 2 thread:
Ive seen the recent posts which subject to clarification at the first sight would appear to be multiple selections by the same person with differing user names.
Apart from not being in the spirit of the competition it does seem pointless - it's not as if there is any prize money at stake.
Looking at the table as it stands now - What happens if the poster picks say another 5/1 winner - the monthly competition is as good as over for everyone else providing he gets say a break even return for the end of the month.
I'm not at the stage of throwing my toys out of the pram, but anyone knows how difficult it is to move through divisions and I feel for anyone getting relegated whilst such posting takes place.
As a minimum I would stop the use of posting for someone else if you've got access problems you've got the 5 grace days that help - if he then has to log in 18 times ( allegedly ) he must be one sad person.

hoof hearted...i've just had a look at the div2 table and it is a ridiculous situation.A solution might be to have a rule that anyone posting more than one selection must select different horses.

it has really been sparked by mm extracting el urine ... if he would only play to the spirit of the comp and mix it up a bit I don't suppose there would be a problem. Surprised he can't see that TBH

i'd support that madhatter however it doesn't get around someone with multiple names signing in individually....however there's no way of policing that scenario.

It wouldn't be much help to those of us who can afford long holidays either.I used to just about squeeze it in when we had 10 days but not 5. And I can't access the forum from most countries even if I wanted to. mini me has been doing this for years but his stable have picked different horses by and large and nobody minded or in a lot of cases even noticed. As has been said he could solve the problem for most of us by going back to the status quo.

Personally I have no objection to someone having lots of aliases. Really the only reason the villagers are marching on the castle is because mm had a lucky pick. In the long run he will have his ups and downs like everybody. And no-one will be complaining when he has a bunch of losers. It's like the last race favourite thing. In the long run it's as likely to win as anything. Probably marginally less likely than the odds suggest, but because there was a spate of good priced winners people denounced it and threw it out. It's just jealousy of somebody's success. Well done mm.

Worth remembering that although attention is focussed on mm there are quite a few other napsters who post multiple selections.
If they're all prevented from doing so we could easily lose an entire division

I've got to comment on I am the one and onlys post at 733 - is he on a fishing exhibition ? - he can't be serious
Another winner today that makes a total mockery of this months competition
Jealous of someone's success??? - it's just spoiling such an excellent competition .
If im not careful I'm going to saying something that will get me in trouble with the forum police - I just hope common sense will prevail

FCH - mini me assures me, all the napsters are real individuals. They have communication problems at present, that`s why all have the same nap.
I think there's a need to drill down into what sort of communication problems we're talking about and for how long these problems are likely to last.

Having considered the many angles, I feel the best way forward is for me to ask mini me to firstly not increase his stable and also if any do drop out or lose interest to retire them. This may already be the case.

Hoof, of course I was being serious. If all his group were occupying the relegation places no-one would be moaning. As for mounting a fishing exhibition, well hand on heart I have never exhibited any pictures of people fishing. Unless you count a picture of the sea I collaborated on in Mr Secombe's class when I was 10. (Actually I wasn't being serious in that last bit)

@ KC TNM has just PM'd me to say he would be happy to undertake the trawling you mentioned. He is of course a bit too bashful to say so himself in public.

A simpler solution.....you can only post for yourself under your own user name. You still get your five grace days allowed (and Sundays) each month. And, just once per year you are allowed five extra days in a month to allow for people going on a fortnights holiday.
Or, instead of the five extra grace days, you make them choose (in advance) a RP Naps table tipster (no alternatives) for five specified days to cover an annual holiday (giving the person 5 grace days + 5 from a professional tipster). Once these five days have been notified to the settler they cannot be cancelled, moved or changed.
Is this way no-one in our naps league is allowed to pick for anyone else, the whole concept of which I find very strange when we are supposedly all in competition against one another!
