We have a new leader. But the big story is the rise from the very bottom of swift-tuttle, courtesy of Deeds Not Words  at a plumpatious 8/1. Cool This excellent winner leaves swifty slap-bang in the middle of the table.

Our new leader is Mr Umlaut himself, AKA Schrödinger's Cat, who scored 3/1 with Rostova  to ascend the one necessary step. Grin Only 50p in it though. A good battle to come I hope.

Elsewhere, posy climbed six to the top half with a 5/4 Happy and a very skinny odds-on managed to lift JBNAY six whole places as well to 12th. A fruitless day for the rest of us. Twas ever thus.
