It lacked the final flourish but what a performance that was by zipper to seal the championship. Eight winners over nine days and an overall strike rate just shy of 45% left him as undisputable numero uno.
But the 'shock' of the day was the dramatic 4/1 winner from One Shot 2 Shot that launched him up five to second and bounced Briansbluebicycle out of the top five. Clondaw Warrior was the shooter's second on the bounce, a great way to finish the month. 
Well done to the three other transportees, Grok, The Lord BUSH and buffythebookieslayer, who have been knocking on the door and deserve their spot in the sun.
Well done too to posy, but a 9/2 score on Belvoir Bay wasn't enough to get into the zone. And hard luck the rest. I could see from the prices how many we had a real go. Shame one of them at least didn't come off. But then this has not been a month of big bazookas. Just four winners at 10/1 and above by my count, well below recent norms.
Anyway, I hope y'all stay with us for another great month's napping!
