Though how you can win with such a low strike-rate is beyond me.

Even more strange as  the top two only have a 20% strike rate.

If your backing on average 8/1 shots a 20% strike rate will more than likely win this league most times

Thanks Shane, never had more than a fleeting look at the premier before I joined it  but it seems correct me if I'm wrong that  very few people tipped bigger price horses until recently & though obviously in a minority are there more tipping bigger price ones than say six months back ?

I think so pumps. I wanted to increase the numbers from 25 to 30 for that very reason.

Lucky streaks are common.
Come back in 3 years and see where you are.

There has never been many big priced winners until we get to the final few days and people realise they are safe.

Well done Ming , excellent finish to the month. Your new strategy adopted a few months ago has certainly paid dividends.

Salmon with all due respect if your happy finding the shortest horse of the day to put up that is entirely up to you & your perfectly entitled to do that without anyone getting on your back for doing it, but  your " Come back in 3 years and see where you are " is in my opinion really uncalled for.
Out of the next 36 months I fully expect to spend at least half of them if not more in other divisions, I do stick the odd short one in but I am actually looking for horses to back & if I find a decent price one more often than not I will put it up on here whether its in the premier or Div 3
I must be doing something right as my yearly total is close to +£80 it cant be all luck, but your right picking bigger price ones you will come a cropper sooner or later but if that's the way I want to approach it then so be it, I don't  have a dig at you for picking a 1/7 shot but in the same breath I don't deserve a dig at  for picking 16/1 shots.
