A spirited start to the new month, especially for a Sunday, headed by that sleeping giantess of the napping world angeleyz. She was clearly limbering up last month for a return to the big time, finishing a creditable 14th. But if today is anything to go by, this could be THE month. Come On Dave returned a far from conservative 10/1 to plonk the heavenly one firmly in pole position.

Sitting in second was another who was uncharacteristically quiet last month, zipper, bagging Karam Albaari at 3/1.

Queuing up behind are alleged22 with 11/4 on Dawalan,

Ibrahima Sonko, who has promised a sharper performance this month, taking 7/4, madhatter with a 6/5, Arklearkle on evens and motseel with his customary shortie.

Hard luck the other plucky Sunday spotters, including three new and not so new additions to our number. A big welcome to you, and to those descended from on high. Hope your fortunes reverse soon but in the meantime hope you enjoy your stay in the toughest div of them all.

* Dan Chipowski ... not so much a ban as an attempt to save some hassle. Ever since I've been involved with this comp you've posted the odd nap, then disappeared, which seems a pointless exercise for you and the settler involved. Last month for instance, one post on day one then nada for the rest of the month. In my book that's called taking the p*ss. If you tell me you genuinely want to take part and intend to post regularly through the month then fine, but I've got no time for time-wasters.
