31 Jan 15 12:28 Gone for Birkdale Boy, EW, 1.10 Ling Bit chancey this because a solid case can be made for the 3 at the head of the betting and he has a bit to find on the figs; and I'm curious why they've gone the maiden route when I'm sure there will be plenty of handicaps for him coming up. He reappeared 19 days ago and probably did well to finish second given he had a wide enough trip but still finished well and was going on at the finish; that form is working out with the winner subsequently bolting up under a penalty and the 3rd comfortably winning a weak maiden. There's a chance the step up 2f to a mile will suit given he's a half-brother to a 10f winner and his dam is related to 2m / NH winners. Hopefully he won't regress from his reappearance, with the blinkers removed, and will at least hit a place. Next start blinkers back on today and wins at 8-1  |

He jacked the settling in after either a minor dispute over a comment made by a napster in div 1 re the table being constantly up late or got fed up with constant petty bickering over minor rules which seem to surface from time to time. |

We lost three settlers in a relatively short space of time so the exact reason is one of the two.
I did manage to get hold of him via email, he no longer wished to participate. |
