It all kicks off again on Sun 18th. After a couple of rounds to forget about we are 4th out of 6.
I did try to lure a Scottish knight of the realm out of retirement to do the half-time talk and throw boots at Lampus,but he muttered something about Man U having more chance of winning the Premiership.

I was thinking about it at Leicester today.
Honestly can't see anything that appeals tomorrow. Catterick will almost certainly be off. It's supposed to be warmer by Saturday but possibly very wet. I think Thurles is likely to be on tomorrow. Might try something there. I prefer to leave the a/w to others in the team. |

I've just avoided going for a loser at Fairyhouse. Sorry about my misinformation about Catterick but if there was a racecourse in my backyard any meeting today would have been snowed off and I assumed it would be as bad further oop north. It's also Gowran Park not Thurles tomorrow.

6 of us are picking tomorrow ( I hope ). The special Sat rule has changed.
The 3.00 cut-off ( and the 1 hr rule ) still apply but you can't put up reserves. Instead if you get a n/r your 10 pts go onto the fav in the same race ( there are contingencies for jt and co favs ). You can pick again but the rule as to when you can is complicated so I think we don't bother. On the whole it seems an improvement to me. |
