My footy betting in 2015 has started off true to form with 1 winner from 7 matches

I lost a load on Man U, bleedin rubbish they are.

Can't put my finger on what I am doing wrong used to do really well in football betting up until 2012 season then all disaster since. Sick of hkf given me earache over it.

HKF doesn't see how you can have an edge when betting on football (I know he is right but there's so much of it is difficult to ignore) any advice welcome?

I never bet lower than the Championship so you may have a point there China?

I`ve been betting on goals, correct score lays, so essentially going for late goals, I`ve found when your luck is in it`s in and roll with it. I was down to my last £5 when my nap went in Saturday, think I took 10.5 on here. Built £50 to over £800 at one point.

I find you have to be selective on match odds, most of the time I`ll just follow instinct. Many will disagree but don`t be afraid to go in hard at odds on.

This may sound daft but betting on late goals on Saturday day/night is usually more profitable over other days. That`s from years experience too, not just 6 months. You have to avoid certain leagues though.

I look for draws too, the market does the work. I`ll back the draw when both teams are evenly matched and priced accordingly and I find it hard to make a case for either team to win. Draw is the best price too, I usually use a staking plan, say 3 losers and increase stakes by 25% for next three bets. Works well when both teams have been keeping it tight lately ie 1-0 0-0 1-1

Maybe that is my problem I don't use a staking plan on football.
But do so on my Horseracing best value bets ,successfully 3 out of the last 4 years.
