Le nozzle bleue stays atop our exceptional division, but the going's getting tougher. He was a bit fortunate to have a non-runner to protect his pile, and that the hot fav in the 6.20 was beaten by a short head, a blow for a couple of his would-be usurpers. But Winkaw is on the chase with today's top winner, After Tonight at a plumpatious 6/1. That scooted our hero to second place, just three squidlies behind. My question for old winky is, after tonight ... what?

Another blue person, bluebrazilman, nipped into fourth with a 7/4 winner, but one place behind now is twm, who is New Rich  to the tune of 7/2. Nice work.

Elsewhere, fortieschild hit eighth with a 5/2 number, zipper scored a 2/1 winner that left him rooted to ninth, and I managed to grab a 7/4 job but ended up two places worse off.  Ah well.
