ged'll have a bit of a shock when he looks at this table. There he was, happy as larry at the top, 15 squidlies clear of the pack. You'd think you could take a day off and not have to worry eh? But he hadn't reckoned with onehundredandeighty, who landed a massive punt to take over the leadership. Out Do came home at a storming, incredibulous 25/1 to make our darts man the new top banana.
Absolutely flippin brillyant! So now our top dog is in the £30 bracket. Out Do eh? Very appropriate name for such a winner. Very well done indeed 180!
I luvvit when I see those. They don't happen often, but take your breath away when they do. Sadly, there were only two other winners, Polo Minx bagging a 5/2 winner to climb three to eighth
and halcyon days earning 6/4, 
which sadly wasn't enough to lift him off the floor. 
Nil desperandoseum hd, there's four more days left!

Reg , I always thought if the selection failed the 1 hour rule it was treated as a No Selection and therefore you wouldn't be deducted a point.
I thought 25/1 winners weren't allowed after the 25th of the month?

Maybe this needs further settler clarification, because I think this point has come up before. The rule does indeed say a 1-hour infringement is treated as a non-selection. But rule eight distinguishes between two different types of non-selection - an optional and a losing non-selection. The optional non-selection, where a point is not deducted, only applies to situations where a competitor does not post on the day. When I made my contribution to drafting the new rules I inserted that distinction for that reason.
If you guys want something different then it's fine by me, but we would have to amend the rules as they stand.

Think I've only noticed the 1 hour rule broken twice since I started settling although I've probably missed some more. I've settled it as a No Selection so far but if everyone else settles it as -1 then I'll go with that the next time its broken.

well under the rules it is a no selection - but of a different type to the non-posts. The point of the rest day was to help people who cant post for various reasons, but once they've posted they are under 'starters orders' so to speak, so if it's invalid its a loser. Thats the way the rules are currently intended.
