There's nothing better than going out with a bang, a final flourish that lets everyone know just how good you are. hong kong fooey did just that today with his final nap of the month, and his last in Div 3 (for now
). I imagine many have wondered what he was doing down here anyway - we all know what a good napster hkf is. Just a blip, quickly set right. 
Quality was the keynote, providing an interesting contrast of style in the battle for top spot. So the fooey banged in naps of 6/1 12/1 9/1 8/1 5/1 and 4/1, with a very uncharacteristic shortie in their midst. But get in there gamsty!, who has by far and away the highest strike rate at 70%, was constantly attempting to nibble away at hkf's lead. It almost worked - had hkf not won today gammers' odds-on winner would have left him just 4p behind! Of course they haven't all been short ones. You can 't usually get promotion that way. So mr g himself knocked in a 6/1 and 8/1 during the month. Nice try gammers, and thanks guys for an intriguing contest.
Hearty congrats to the others going up. Grok, away doing stuff in deepest Essex, had 12/1 14/1 and 8/1 winners, ad hoc shouldve won a national who inched up a place to fourth today with a small one, propelled himself from the depths towards elevation with a mid-term 14/1 opener, man of many moods, another who you knew would be quickly back upstairs, capped a quiet but steady month two days ago with his second 8/1 hit, ending with a final 11/10 flourish today to move up one to fourth. And Aquarius, who slipped today but clung onto the sixth promo spot, was another to include a 14/1 belter among his wins.
Hard luck to everyone else who tried but couldn't make the breakthrough. madhatter was an 11/8 last day winner but it was too little too late and he rose by just two to eighth.
You keep napping and one day it all comes right. So I hope you all keep napping in the new month. Best of luck.
