Scorching aint the word for it. Not only has hong kong fooey gone and got his hat-trick, but he's done it with a humungoidal 12/1 winner in the form of Waltz Darling. Foxtrot Bravo mr f (that's code BTW - two words, second wun's brilliant). As a consequence of this supreme performance he rightly zooms straight into top spot, with a £5 cushion. Luvvit!

As if that wasn't enough, we have another super strike, from our resident nappies to napping mum Polo Minx, who bagged Serena Grae at a scrumpatious 10/1 to barrel 23 places up to fifth! Gorgeous - you, your baby and your nap!

In fact we almost had another super-strike in the last race of the day: pedro39 ending just half a length away from landing a 14/1 shot. Real hard luck ped.

Back at the top, the morning's two leaders man of many moods and get in there gamsty! both won (hat-trick for the gammy wun!), but didn't stand a chance against hkf's advance with their odds-on strikes and slipped a place.

Our only other score was madhatter with an 11/10 that on any other day might have seen him rise a bit further, but in the event only nudged him up a place to eighth.

While this must all make for somewhat dispiriting reading for our bottom-feeder Winkaw, a couple of seconds in the last three hold out hope! I also note bluebrazilman bemoaning his 11th straight month in the div. And I thought he just loved it here so much. Tell you what bbm, let's have a party when it's a year!
