The Rules

There will be 10 fortnightly rounds, 20 weeks in total plus a Christmas break
Each round and each week within rounds will begin on a Sunday and finish on a Saturday.
Each team will have 8 selections per week, one from each player, duplicate selections are allowed but no duplicate selections within teams at any time. Players must use their 1 selection per week, it cannot be carried over to the other week in the round.
10pts win or 5pts EW on British, Irish, French (as long as an industry SP is returned) or UAE Festival racing and Breeder's Cup meeting, selected any day, Sunday through Saturday, the week ends on the last Saturday race.
Settled at SP, EW terms as industry standard.
Selections must be posted at least one hour before race time. On Saturdays there will be a 3pm cut-off for selections, that is you may pick in any race after that but it has to be posted by 3pm (1hr rule still applies).
Once you have posted a selection you are not allowed to change it or the stake, unless it becomes a non-runner or is a duplicate.
Non Runners - that team member may choose again for that week.
If you are selecting in a race after 3pm Saturdays you may leave a reserve just in case of non-runners. The reserve will only apply to your own selection and not any other teammates' non runner.
Other than above, reserve selections are not allowed, nor is posting "just-in-case"  selections for team mates that may or may not turn up.

Wildcards are available to cover holiday or other absence and covering for non-runners.
Team captains will be responsible for managing any wildcards required, there are no restrictions on their use, but please try and share them around so that no one individual is always claiming them. Please also name who the wildcard is for when posting.

Teams will start the week from a baseline of 0pts. This equates to 8 losing selections and/or non-selections.
Subsequent scores will be added to this baseline plus return of the winning part of the stake (10pts for win and EW winner, 5pts for EW placed). All scores count.
Scores will be accumulated through the fortnight, there will be no points awarded for weekly finishing positions.

Points structure for overall yearly comp:
Fortnightly winners will receive 6pts, runners-up - 5pts, 3rd - 4pts, 4th - 3pts, 5th - 2pts, 6th - 1pt

salmon, you little troublemaker you , why not, as long as it's clear one reserve per one post 3pm selection, I guess so

However if Lampus & hoof hearted then came back later and wanted different reserves it might all get a bit messy, I just want to give every chance to all getting a run, let's see how it plays out.

I think Lampus will come back but I have no idea about hoof hearted as he is a newbie.
I will leave Lampus to find his own way here but if hoof hearted doesn't act on the message on our thread by say 2.00 I am going to select for him. OK ?

Salmon get stuffed as you can clearly see the selection was made BY HKF, not by me so stop **** stirring.

You'll see I haven't done one for Tingle Creek but I will be doing if he doesn't come back as you are going to make reserve selections for yours

UD, everyone always says what a good sort you are (SS in particular speaks very highly of you) so will you please look favourably upon this request...

My first selection and reserve were both NRs and when I posted again, I made the mistake of copying & pasting the previous text which meant that I inadvertently marked my selection as 5pts EW when it should have been a 10pts win.  Please will you treat this as 10pt win?  It truly was never meant to be 5pts because the price was 7/2 and so there would have been little point in going EW.  I know I made a mistake and I'll be more careful in the future, it's just I really don't want to let down my adorable Humbugs team-mates in the very first week.
