If i`d have known the price i`d have gone 10pts. You can`t change at last minute though.
Cheers troops. |

They knew you were on Shane so the price collapsed.

In the likely event of desperate ground conditions at Doncaster tomorrow and Jack Dexter SP being likely to be very short I'll play the wildcard on Pipers Note ew at Wolves tonight.

By:
Good luck mackies.
Considered playing tonight myself, Diamond Blue (5.10) and Asha in the last EW were under consideration, but in the end decided to wait until tomorrow and Donny ![]() |

Well done on the winner and places.
Normally I would be looking at 3-4 bets on a Saturday but really struggling to see much more than 1 this week. Wouldn't put anyone off Le Vent D'Antan as he could easily be an even better chaser than hurdler but pricewise I think we need something a little better than that if we are to at least hold what we have. So gone with 2.45 Naas and Fine Article Win. Be very surprised if doesn't prove the best of these just a question of whether he is ready first time. Hopefully, class will see him home. |

Guess that's the problem aiming for the 3rd spot, it kinda assumes the other teams won't score ![]() |

4 point scorers out of 5 isn't to be sniffed out but even if by some miracle mine consents to win we will only be around 70-80 points so it looks like all we need is a couple of 25/1 shots on the nose. You never know.
Good luck to George and FCH. |

I'll be looking to knock one out the ballpark, differentdrum. If it drops out the back of the telly so be it.
One caught my eye straight away in the Novemeber Handicap, but disappointed to see although a double figure price, not as big a price as I thought it would be. Will take another look in the morning. Good luck differentrum & FCH. |

Good luck George and FCH

Good place points yesterday mackies.
Looks like we have little to lose by going for it, so its One Pekan in the November Handicap. Main positive is that he'll go in the ground. I've put up Dream Walker in the 1.50 as a reserve. Good luck DD & George |
|
By:
I could be wrong, FCH, but I think the reserve has to run after the cut-off time

It has crossed my mind but don`t think it has to be later George

I`ve gone for One Pekan in the big race comp FCH. Good luck & to George/dd.

I've gone for Aramist, 5 pts EW in the November Handicap.
He was quite an eye-catcher 3 starts back in the Old Newton Cup when Ben Curtis had an absolute mare' up the straight, unlike the eventual winner, who started from a similar position but had an uninterrupted passage down the outer. Although it's likely he was just going to be running through horses who'd done their running, it looked like he would have been placed at least. He's run well in 2 starts since, including lto when behind Old Town Boy at York, who he meets on 6lb better terms for 2.25l. He stays the trip well, which it looks like they will have to today, and handles soft ground well (though whether he wants it heavy...). Draw is a potential negative, but a double-figure price that's where the pin has landed. Reserve: Kiwi Bay, 4.05 Don. Good luck all. |

Good luck gents
Plenty of winners drawn high on bad ground in this race recently George |
|
By:
If Dream Walker wins is anyone near enough to nobble One Pekan pre race?

|
By:
At the prices, I did consider Swinbank's other runner, Dark Ruler, who seems more of a grinder and may be better suited to this test in what looks pretty desperate ground, but in the end stayed loyal to me notebook horse

Well done George. Just a shame from our point of view the winner appeared to have about two stone in hand.
Another miserable effort on my part, very well backed but no excuses. |

Good call George, very close.

Well done with the place points on Aramist George (also my selection in Monte Cristo's comp.
Unlucky FCH and DD. Another week over and good points scoring by most, a pity one far-away team member was a NR ![]() |
