HKF if you're not going to be around might be as well to put up a reserve for yours as it runs after 3.00pm undecided • October 3, 2014 10:37 PM BST Things to know before selecting on Saturday: No posts after 3pm, if you are choosing something that runs after 3pm, you may wish to post a reserve in case of non-runners The reserve will only cover your original selection and no other teammates' non-runner |

Sorry stewpot for jumping in but saw your post you were going out. We all need to consider this reserve situation on saturdays and with the changing weather today we may see a few late non runners

Lads, gone for a tricky handicap tomorrow, changed my mind about 4 times so just hopeful rather than confident
5pts e/w Market Option currently 11/1 with BV. The fav looks "well handicapped" especially if a change of stable has made him happier but he has got 4 bad runs to put behind him and at 11/4 maybe worth taking on. (plus I did follow it last season and it cost me) |

Saturday 3pm rule:
There is a cut-off for posting selections to prevent late tactical play. As it is a little unfair if you pick a subsequent nr after 3pm, (to not be able to replace it), you may post a reserve. The reserve is tied to the original selection, whether it's posted by you or on your behalf. Once original and reserve is posted it cannot be changed. The downside of this reserve system is that it can get a little confusing/messy, a bit more work for me and indeed for all who pick after 3pm, needing to come up with reserves. So see how it goes for a couple of weeks and let me know what you think. |
