Good well run comp seemingly played in good craic , bit more pressure than your own Naps Comp.

I know what you mean, if your nap loses you feel like you`re letting the team down, but you`re not. |

I have my jumping books now as we speak getting ready for the big guns coming out and getting my own 7 to follow comp ready.
I usually make the Charlie Hall Chase meeting at Wetherby the start of the jumps proper. We have been going now for the past 4 years and I am looking forward to it again 10 of us this year staying overnight at Wakefield. |

Brought back good memories for me Pete about the start of the jumps season. Went to the Charlie Hall meeting during the mid nineties and was lucky enough to see One Man twice, Barton Bank twice and Young Hustler win the race. The quality has been down in recent years probably due to the best 3m chasers going for the Betfair Chase now.

ONE MAN AND BARTON BANK I WAS A BIG FAN OF THEM TWO I WON A FEW BOB ON THEM OVER THE YEARS, NOT YOUNG HUSTLER THOUGH.
We are trying the premier stand for the first time though not sure if it is going to be any less packed. I can remember Young Hustler winning as I had gone big on Barton Bank that day when it fell twice the 1st time getting back up off it's belly but had well and truly give the race away by then. |

now theres a surprise just thought I would send you a Thai postcard I know it looks similar to last years it was a job lot this is our 'cruise liner' ..... never quite mastered this language nice to see the Team has everything in hand over there Oshun looks to be employing a successful Charm offensive tactic long may it last a couple of days 'on the farm' here before heading back coastwards Oshun im being 'forced' to sample the local rice wine and as I dont approve of spitting in public Im having to swallow most of it, in danger of becoming an acquired taste unsure if this is before its been bottled looks like being a wet night, the rumbling I can here is not from me so sign out before lecy goes ..... again see you late next week guys your doing a great job Dessie  |

gone 10pts win Uxizandre in 2m 4f old roan chase , ticked all the right boxes to me and the 4/1 looks juicy enough, I just wish my own form was not so bloody awful.

Evening guys, theres no final update yet but I think we've definitely held on to 2nd place which is a great performance in the circumstances. Some real hard luck stories with both Rickys and Oshuns selections looking like winners at big prices and just missing out on any points late on. That coupled with the ridiculous gamble on mine which all but destroyed my place points, and our three beaten NH favourites we couldn't expect to pull back the Pins lead. They were in real form. Optimistic for next week, we're gonna explode soon

good to be back, and great to see the Team cracking on in my absence  nice to see the old tactic of only picking just enough winners to get us the points still working  spread the success thinly as possible is what its all about lads keep those juicy winners until the weeks we really need them Deputy Dessie continues to be a lucky mascot there may be a link there some big decisions to be made this week ahead, best of luck with yours guys Mine, do I take up that 'free' flu jab appointment offer or not do I take the racing page with me and get outside assistance for my selection this week better make sure its open on the Bleeders Cup Card  Nice to be back |
