Life can be so cruel sometimes. I asked you guys to go for it and you did, none more so than SirRembrandt, the moose who thinks he's an artist. Well he certainly produced a last-day masterpiece with his selection of Safety Check,  which came home at a stonking 14/1. Super, and just enough to slip him into the fifth promotion spot ... providing khyber kim failed to score.

The rest is history. The two-thirds clansman banged home his own great last-day scorer, Moscato  at 7/2, not only to secure promotion but nip up a couple of places to a well-deserved third (nice 43% strike rate). Very well done kk, but real hard luck moose, sorry, Sir R.

Just one other winner, Gorgeous George with a 2/1 shot that secured his fourth place. Another terrific performance.

But above all a huge well done to Steamship. who has of course done this before. He may 'only' have a 35% strike rate  but they include humdingers at 9/1, 5/1, 6/1 and lastly 8/1. Super jobs, a lovely £21 profit and life in the fast lane upstairs next month. Very well done.

And a big up to custardcream64, going up in his first month with the div's highest strike rate of almost 57%. I like to think I played a little hand in that, but it wasn't the shorties I produced that sealed the deal but the 4/1 and 12/1 winners he banged in on his return. Tremenduloso.

Tha really just leaves angeleyz *sniff*. Very happy for you of course angel, and the usual terrific performance after a shaky start, but do you have to go so soon? As I said before, life can be so, so cruel!
