A humungous 25/1 strike by Grok on Scotsbrook Legend shoots him straight to the top of the table, more than £10 clear of the chasing pack. How's that for a strike! Groky's modus operandi used to be the tipster with the longest losing streak, and I see the Legend tipped by the South Wales Argus of all publications! I wonder if they are by any chance related? Who cares? Superfantabuloso strike to put the grokster in pole position!

The Steamship was becalmed today, hardly surprising after that steaming start, which gave the intrepid pumphol a chance to nip ahead of him. Thus he might have thought today's 7/2 winner, second on the trot, would put him top.

Sorry pumph, but you stay in second, while the SS Napster slips to third.

I hope MALTWHIX is enjoying his week off ... he's been very fortunate with the LRFs, today's bringing home 5/2 to inch him up a place to fourth. And elvissss slithers into fifth with a 6/4 winner.

A handy crop of winners today, even ignoring the six on LRF. Well done to bridgelad with his hat-trick - on the LRF but of his own choosing! And nice to see The Fruity Kiwi & his Gerbil breaking a mini-drought with a 7/2 number.

Newbie alleged22 finally hit the target with a 3/1 winner to rise eight out of the pit of doom, and the same nag lifted sing when ur winning 12 places from even deeper in the mire.

* just a quick note for the eagle-eyed who may have spotted slight changes in their returns. I got the price of yesterday's LRF slightly wrong and had to redo the table. Not my fault, yeronner. Sporting Life changed their minds after I had dunnit!

Did you have some inside info on that one Grok even though it was getting a load of weight from all it's rivals it had never won a race and pulled up struggling on it's only run on the heavy (latest). Possible omitting 4 hurdles was just right up it's street. I suppose it's 2nd last run give it a squeak. Smashing result for you anyhow, well odds on now for promotion.
