I tend to disagree too, but then I suppose it's where you live, thought it was much safer in the seventies,the sixties even more so, people were more friendly then everyone knew everyone in your street, today no one speaks, everyone keeps themselves to themselves.

Maybe it`s an age thing. When you`re young you attract trouble from other youngsters, not so when you`re older if you follow me.
Also, maybe things are better policed ie footy matches, town centres at the weekends and so on. Maybe we hear so much more now we live in the digital age, everything is instant and in ya face so to speak.
Certainly no worse these days.
