I remember now that we had this situation on a couple of consecutive days last winter when GB racing was abandoned but Irish still went ahead, and we made it like an optional Sunday. Then there was a lot of discussion about it and we reached a conclusion about what to do next time it happened.

Think you are talking about Jan 18, when we were left with just one Irish meet and the comp was abandoned for the day MoMM. But that was slightly different, not to say highly controversial, because the decision was made fairly late as a result of meetings going down through the day. So a lot of people had already posted and it was thought (by those that made the decision) that that put them at a significant disadvantage. But I thin k today is different in that we knew early doors the UK meetings were off so everyone theoretically has time to repost. I don't see the rules as making any distinction between UK and Ire as at this point, subject to other settlers agreeing, I'm operating as if it is a normal day.

Just pick a short one and hope for the best on a day like today
