The Fruity Kiwi & his Gerbil proved exceptionally fruity today, grabbing the top nap, Multi Bene at 9/1. Fruity, multi bene ... call it what you like, terrific pick shot the kiwi (and the gerbil) into second place. Naice! 
But yeahyeahwhatever is not giving up the chase, although today's odds-on effort didn't prevent her slipping a place. I know one thing I wish she'd give up, and that's posting reserves. Read my typing fingers YYW ... NO RESERVES (except for abandoned meets).
But we'd better not miss out the next best thing in napping goodness. NEW KID IN TOWN took a very handsome 7/1 on Gold Trail - another very apposite name - to shoot 28 places into sixth. Great stuff.
Plenty of other winners, but all a bit low key. I am in the right division aren't I?
