Congratulations twm on winning the Division 3 Championship for August with a fantastic total. Also well done to your fellow promotees ad hoc, sonofshinner, siralex and fortieschild. Good luck to you all in Divison 2.

It wasn't as exciting a finale as the previous month, which was a hard act to follow. But it wasn't half bad, with three absolute belters. Sadly, in the case of two, the transportation zone stayed out of reach, but our napster of the day by a country mile, nellie1970, managed to sneak a lift upstairs courtesy of a late retirement in Div 1 today. I couldn't be more happy, as nellie has been a great competitor and today's winning nap, Dance Bid at a incredublous 22/1 propelling our nell 28 places up to ninth, deserved nothing less. The gods obviously agreed. Very well done nellie.
unluckyStu scored a beauty of an 8/1, fourth winner in the last six.
That was a super last-minute surge, but fell a tad short. So too did josh monk with a 10/1 winner today that at least puts some gloss on a fairly mundane month - just the four winners and on a losing streak of 11 days. 
Our only other winner was MOB, but 3/1 was never going to do the gansta any favours in the promo stakes.
So in the end our leaders could just sit back and enjoy the view today. Not a winner among them. But that doesn't take away from their achievement, especially our champion twm. with a superb total of nearly £35, which I'm pretty sure is the top total across the four divs this month! Huge well done for that. twm had eight winners in the month, but none so spectacular at the 40/1 stunner he scored on the 23rd. That virtually set the seal on the championship.
ad hoc shouldve won a national will be remembered most for the 33/1 winner he notched on the same day and he fully deserves second place. ad hop's total too puts the other divs to shame.
But all the promotions are richly deserved. There's some pretty solid totals there that napsters elsewhere would give their right arms for.
We will of course miss you guys, but enjoy your elevation and don't come back, d'ya hear!
Hard luck to those that missed out, but a huge thanks to you all for taking part, yes even poor petemac languishing at the foot of the table. You all help to make it a fun division with sporting and spirited competition. Long may it remain so, and I hope we see you all in September! Tally ho!

Sad to lose napsters but at least it gives extra promotion places in div 3. Also one extra promotion place in div 2.
Glad too see the back of that Month, no luck at all. (also drew a blank at Beverly after missing 1st winner by 3 seconds the old man behind the Tote was stricter than your good self on the time)
