To re-fresh:
1 - You have to choose 1 horse each day. Winners will be returned at SP/Industry Prices and stake is 1 point. If no SP/Industry Price is returned winning selections will be settled as non-runners. Subject to Rule 8, failure to post will be deemed a Non Selection and 1 point will be deducted. 2 - All UK and Irish races are eligible along with the Dubai Festival and the Sunday Arc de Triomphe meet. 3 - Selections must be posted AT LEAST 1 hour before your selected race. Failure to comply will result in the selection being declared Invalid and treated as a Non Selection. 4 - Selections may be changed as long as it is at least 1hr prior to the original race OR if the selection is a NR or deemed invalid ( Rule 3 MUST still be adhered to). 5 - Rule 4 and Dead Heat rules will apply to SP/Industry Prices. 6 - Sunday selections will be optional unless it is the last day of the month. On optional Sundays there will be no deductions for non-posters and Rule 8 will not apply. 7 - LAST DAY RULES for the last day of the month : all selections must be made BY THE SCHEDULED OFF TIME OF THE FIRST RACE of the day, you can't choose a horse already selected by another competitor in the same division, and only named horses are allowed. 8 - On any day that a competitor does not post (excluding Sundays and final days) they will automatically revert to the Last Race Favourite ( "the last race being the latest of ALL races that qualify for the competition that day") However, once the total of non-posting days for a month reaches 10, further days where no selection is made in that month will count as a Non Selection. In the case of more than one favourite in the race it will be settled on the favourite with lowest race-card number. Competitors will be able to opt out of this rule, in which case the standard Non Selection rule will apply. 9 - Reserve selections will only be allowed to cover the possibility of a meeting being abandoned. 10 - In the event of a tie the person who has used least "instructions" (ie Last Race favourite) will be deemed to finish above the person they have tied with. 11 - In the event of a major Betfair upgrade which may affect the ability to post on the Forum before racing starts that day will have Sunday rules applied (ie. no deduction for non-posters). 12 - Quite often, things can crop up that aren`t strictly covered by the above rules (grey areas) in these instances please abide by the individual settler`s decision/ruling. |

Congratulations MOMM !!
stuck in a divn for first time in my career (Only prev stick was in Prem for 15 months ).. My target of up all divns each month , down all divns each month, Back up all divns each month Has hit a snag on stage 3 above :-(( |

Shane - Reged thinks only 3 should be relegatedfrom the Prem for August?
Reged yes mate, you send four up to the prem as usual but you only get three back: you're now 29. You're sending only 2 down to D2 but getting five back: now 32 But 3 are also retired: now 29 |
|

sorted now Shane - my brain has woken up thanks to Regeds prompting
Kiyoshi 4.15 Curragh please |

Morning troops - very late night
![]() Firstly with Weaver retiring in the premier only three others go down from the premier, replaced by the top four in division 1. Which leaves you one short (29) Division 1 now has three retirees with George throwing the towel in, however six will be promoted from division 2 to make you numbers back up to (30) So there are only two left relegated in to division 2 with three retirees. So division 2 will now start with only (19) with six being promoted and also one retiree and four relegated. Two drop down from div 1 making (21) so there are four extra promotion places in division 3, nine in total. Probably not explained it as well as I could. |
|
By:
Bringing div 2 back up to (30) I should say.
|
|

glad that's sorted then
![]() so, to clarify, shane, you're sending bb six and taking back nine, and bb is sending down 12 and retiring six, plus another held as reserve, meaning he needs 98 from Div 2 who in turn will, because of retirements etc, need 1,216 from me. So does that mean petemac goes straight to the Prem? ![]() |
|
By:
In short - div 2 benefits with extra promotion places when napsters retire from the premier. div 3 benefits from retirees in the premier and division 1 of which there were four in total so four extra places.

Good afternoon shane. Nice to be back. It only feels like I've been away a couple of months but I think it must have been around March that I dropped down. Doesn't time fly!
