Four top napsters today, three on the same nag. youresomean, Virgin and DFCIRONMAN all agreed Cosmic Halo was a winner and pocketed 9/2 as a result. It was the meanie's second straight winner and leaves a gap of just £5 or so with our leader, who couldn't decide on a winner today. Virgy shoots up eight places to perilously close to the promo zone in eighth, while the the human girder (I bet he drinks IronBru) enjoyed a 14-spot rise from the pit of everlasting darkness. To top it all off, Burton-Brewers ended five blank days with 9/2 on Ulzana's Raid to go up eight and crash the sixth transportation pad. Great naps!
Ricky Santini's been a bit dormant of late, so let's hope his 3/1 win today will be the start of him Emulating some of the cracking spells he's had in the past.
And watch out for john.t, quietly knocking in a 2/1 winner in Matrook to gain three places to 12th, fifth winner of the month.
Elsewhere:
MOB, Pre-Fat-Low-Fat-Foods and SLB dallied with Mrs Peachey and she paid them 6/4 (shurely shome mishtake: Ed). That's the mobster's fifth win in six, third in four for the foodie, and second straight for the Southern Lectricity Board ...
The odds-on winners today were SilverBuck1, who's now nine from eleven, and dukeofpuke, who it seems can only be stopped from winning by a non-runner at the moment - he's had two non-runners and just the one loser this month ...
And seven of our number benefited from the end of the LRF drought, as Bishops Road came home at 11/10.
But of course, that aint really it. Because there's one result I still have to report, another odds-on winner.

There is something rotten in the state of napping and I think this is it. IMHO there is no way in the galaxy that our pete would have selected this nag on his own, even if it did win. 1/3? Pah! No, a stewards inquiry has been held and it was agreed that advantage appears to have been of our noble napster in his absence by those he trusted to post for him. And we name hong kong fooey as the guilty party. The penalty is deferred for psychiatric reports! Result stands, however.
Come back pete. They're trying to trash your reputation!

I was always a champion of Betfair years ago, I would tell anyone I met to check them out. Many of my friends have accounts with Betfair because of me. The other day my 12/1 nap winner went off at 30 on Betfair, I was on at 26. Where else will you get value like that? Nowhere is the answer.
However since October 2008, my Betfair profits have been reduced by around 15% per week due to 'Premium Charge'.
Nowadays I never mention Betfair to anyone. At Cheltenham in March for the last few years, my friends laugh at me, suggesting that the free scarfs they are wearing advertising Betfair are paid for by me.
