Four winners from a spirited Sunday turnout aint half bad. Top man today was newcomer Burton-Brewers with his second winner in three days, Royal Chatelier at 11/4, which lifted him nine places out of the pit of doom.

Not bad going when he started off three days ago with a 9-point disadvantage. Two wins and a third out of four suggest I might be writing a bit more about BB in the days to come.

Up at the top, tghe imperious bettysboy (remember him, the only guy in the comp to tip the National winner?) scrambled back over the £60 mark with Super Villan at 5/2, his third winner of the month.

Ah, how nice not to have to worry about not dropping a point eh?

And excellent news on the sonofshinner front - after 13 very unlucky days he finally has a winner, Roll the Dice!

Unfortunately the roll only produced a 1 (which is quite something when you're rolling more than one dice) but that was enough to give sos a five-spot lift and HOPE for the future. You can take your head out of the oven sos (and let pete put his back in).

Our winning list is topped off by an odds-on number from beglopty that gained him a place in mid-table.

Okay folks, this is the half-way point. Things are gonna start getting serious, so concentrate! And the best of luck!
