Okay, the first thing to say is a big high five to History Maker, who produced today's blockbuster in the shape of Masters Blazing, which is finally what HM is again - second winner in four days and third in eight days. Because of his mid-term blues, the win shoots HM up 13 places but only to 18th. Still a work in progress. But there's no taking away from this beauty. VWD!
And the second thing to say is: this last race favourite - they're 'avin a giraffe aren't they? To quote Monty Python: I like a joke as much as the next man, but this is getting silly. So the sadly absent deadbrain59 gets winner number 17 (out of 20) from Sunrise Dance at 7/2 and sits very comfortably indeed in second place, almost on £20! Would you adam and eve it? Red Hand, becalmed by the internet travails of Weaver, also adds nicely to his fourth place total, now more than £13. And then there's Grok, who has also been absent these last few days, who rises 10 places to the very edge of elevation! Weaver Fish was the other LRF beneficiary, but it only lifted him three places out of the murky depths. This is like watching the reds repeat on the roulette table! It has to stop some time ... doesn't it?
Tell you something else: DB and RH, and sonofshinner who scored an odds-on win today and sits in third on almost £14, are going to be really hard to shift in the six days remaining.
Elsewhere:
angeleyz climbs 10 places, also with Sunrise Dance, but this time using heavenly intuition (or maybe just buying into the whole LRF narrative! ...
Just above angel is KBGJ and just below madhatters after they both landed Goldstorm at 2/1 to go up four with their second straight winner ...
khyber kim collected 11/4 on Doctor Harper, his second straight winner and fifth in six picks, to go up three ...
unluckyStu continues to battle the elements in the basement, also with his second straight winner, which was also Goldstorm. Alas and alack, again it wasn't enough to extract his feet from the setting concrete down in the depths.

Strangely, on the two days that I couldn't post, so ended up with last race favourites, I got the opposite results than I would have done had I been able to post...
On the first day my choice would have lost, but the LRF won. On the second, my intended nap won, but the LRF lost. Swings and roundabouts, eh?
In truth, I actually benefitted because the LRF winner was 7/4 or something, and my winning nap which I couldn't post was just shy of Evens.
Anyway, I'm sure I'll be back to putting an invisible 20lb onto the back of all the nags I select tomorrow
