I haven't heard from barny but my source is going to try him again and it's possible he'll ring me tomorrow. If not I have a wildcard sorted that is running fairly late. A bit short by barny's standards but frighteningly long by mine
 I'll try again next week if necessary and if I get nowhere will consult. |

Thanks Deep I. I'll have a think about that. It's possible barny will ring me. I was going to give him till near 3.00 so had picked one out myself in the 4.00,but can't say I would be confident about it. As yours isn't much earlier I may well use that. |

I've rung barny again but got his voicemail ( or whatever it's called ) again. He's not getting back to me. I'll do the wildcard this week uunless anybody else wants to volunteer ( Deep I did it last week ). Not sure what to do if we don't hear from him in the next few days. Should we give him a bit longer and hope he gets connected or should we try and recruit ?

We have a problem in the sense that undecided's thread on HR looking for new recruits has been surprisingly successful. If it all works out even The Barons who were down to 4 are now full. Unless there is a strong feeling otherwise I am going to give barny till the end of NEXT week and I'll try ringing him yet again. If nothing by then I suggest we recruit.
