Oh chuffin hell. As has been pointed out, a late selection was posted on Boxing Day which resulted in a winner and it affects the bottom four.

As you pointed out yesterday rules are rules and would you not have done the same? How come you didn't spot the error boxing day?

I have checked it now and you appear to be correct potless. I don't spend my time looking at the timing of every bloody selection on the thread.
Had the error been pointed out earlier look its snowing would no doubt have changed her strategy between Boxing Day and today.
This is a very difficult situation. potless is correct. If i ammend the table it sends snowy down.
Please leave it with me for a while. Which ever way i go i must ask whoever goes down to accept the dicision.

I have been out this afternoon and got a phone call to tell me that the bad news was mine fell at the last however there was a late post on boxing day etc which i mentioned the minute i got home and alerted Shane just before the table went up! What am i supposed to do?? So i can understand what you are saying Soldier however are you telling me that LIS didn't notice on boxing day that the post was 8 mins late? Mine was late by 1 minute yesterday because of internet problems as i kept getting logged out of the forum so although i posted about 10 mins earlier it took 3 log outs prior to posting on here and pushed submit post exactly 1 hour before race unfortunately it posted a few seconds into the 59th min it appears meaning a breach of the rules kindly pointed out by Salmon. I went out to dinner yesterday and didn't notice till i got home.
I have to accept my share of blame here for not spotting the late winning nap on Boxing Day, that said so must look - it`s snowing and or who ever posted. As always, every napster must check the name/time & time posted etc to ensure they are within the rules.
As soldier quite rightly pointed out above, this would have altered snowy`s selection method but i feel i have to correct the late Boxing Day selection which won at 4/5 and take £1.80 off snowy. Very sorry for that as it comes at such a high price for you.

Great Month DE44 congrats, HKF (4 times champion) relegated after a very poor month of tipping, though unlucky with a couple of big uns early on i am sure he will return sooner than later. Salmon congratulations on keeping your head above water, finishing off quite well though I dont think you will ever get your name in the roll of honour with shorties. Very unlucky Snow but i am afraid rules are rules and Shane has made the correct decision.(nothing else he could do)

MOMMs right Shane should have had £1.80 added to total as you had the first time.
It's solved. I disappear. potless and lis stay up and the 4 from Div 1 who were expecting to come up. There are knock on beneficiaries from Divs 2 and 3.
Salmon please dont go. Without HKF and you in Prem i wont have a reason to nose in.
Doesn't work like that unfortunately salmon. The bottom 4 always go down regardless of any retirements further up the table. You would have needed to announce your retirement before the final day for it to make a difference. It was a nice thought though.
I DID know that momm but in the circumstances can't we bend the rules slightly. The 5th person in Div 1 won't have been expecting to come up. But I'm not retiring if we can't sort it that way.
Good Lord. It is as i originally stated -£1.80, i`ve had a few drinks. I did have a pm which said £0.80 and i somehow took it as optional which it wasn`t. So snowy`s selection on Boxing Day was invalid and she loses £1.00 plus the £0.80 awarded for a 4/5 winner.
