madhatters has been a bit quiet of late but he made up for that today with the nap of the day, Aldwick Bay  at 5/1. That scoots him up eight places to the heart of the table, from where he is more than capable of launching a final assault on the summit. WD mad.

Close behind were two perspicacious napsters who lumped on the 9/2 Authoritarian.  That gained KBGJ four places and Red Hand three, but they've both got a way to go to catch the leaders.

Up top a hushed air surrounds mads' singular namesake - hope he hasn't fallen asleep! -  while the pretenders to his throne creep ever nearer. An odds-on shot put caress's bank into double figures, and Oscars Journey  at 5/4 helped beef up  angeleyz's total in third - his fifth winner in six days (on the day he won the Lay Comp for the second time!). But I suspect it will take heftier winners to catch mad now.

Elsewhere:
swift-tuttle benefitted from his instruction to take 100/30 on Cheveton,  but only moved one spot away from the black hole ...
zipper also won on Oscars Journey to gain a place in mid-table ...
deadbrain59 and petemac scored with the same odds-on shot as the little c, but only DB managed to move upwards a place. Seven winners in nine days, but still in the red. That was the reason for my question about the price. Keep on knocking them in like that and the price will obviously be right ....

I totally cocked up the table yesterday, missing two posters. I don't suppose they will thasnk me for discovering the error because they both lost, but that's just the way it is. Sorry about that. I did republish the table on the Monday page and the correct figures are included in today's table.
