Know how good that crop of winners is? Ignoring instructions, it's three more winners than the rest of the Naps Comp combined could come up with. Yet again Div 3 rocks! Well done guys! And because it's still early doors in the month, a win shoots people right to the top half of the table, so the winners look like a pack of hounds with one quarry in their sights - the empty-handed N-east Correspondent. Hope you're feeling comfortable there NEC!

It was a bit like Noah's Ark at times, with the winners going in two by two. Today's two top napsters pumphol. and Wakingthedead both picked out Titus Titan  at 5/1 to vault into joint third. Sound napping there, fellas. madhatter and zipper, meanwhile, both went for Fillionaire,  which is certainly what they won't be, whatever it is exactly, with 11/4, but a nice return all the same.

Some didn't quite get the script right, so we also had a threesome, appropriately with the last race favourite Amoure Medici.  I feel a lotta love in the air after it returned 11/4 for bluenose7 directly and lagmorian and swift-tuttle through instructions (more on this later swifty).


Elsewhere madhatters (that's the really mad one ... or is it madhatter - I get so confused! ) leapt right up the table to sneak into fifth place om the 11/2 Greyemkay,  and GAVBEN might be struggling to pick em at the moment - time and patience Gav - but his instruction did the business for him today, offering up Hardy Red  at 9/2. But because of the flurry of activity some did not profit place-wise from their success. Red Hand lost a place despite carefully picking out Measured Approval  at 5/2, and angeleyz fell four spots after winning with the 7/4 Woodlandsway.

I reckon that's not a bad day's non-work at all lads and lasses: very well done! Now you just need to keep doing it for 27 more days! No sweat! May your pins strike like rapiers Tuesday!

* swift-tuttle: you might be surprised to find yourself on an instruction rather than your selection today. But in this case it did you a favour, because your own beast lost. The reason - and others would do well to take note - is that it was posted after the time your instruction had become "live". You instruction, you will recall, is for last race favourite. That only applies in the UK and the last race was at 6pm. You posted 11 minutes before that.

Everyone should be clearly aware that you MUST post your nap ONE HOUR before the time of any race involved in an instruction, or the instruction will take precedence.

Well i hope everybody saw what happened to yesterdays nap. Ayoung child ran on to the track with a bucket and spade and dug a hole in the sand, to which Ruban proceeded to fall into. Therefore i will not be putting up a nap on the aw today.

You can even change your pick if it isn't a non-runner, again subject to the 1hr rule and instructions on both races (but if its less than an hour to go to the race you are changing you are stuck with it) HTH

Well, matey I'm afraid I have to disappoint, because I haven't had a chance to properly analyse this comp - I've got some basic stuff but not overall. And I've got a queue of other stuff to do first that stretches round the equator! Also, I don't note instructions - too complicated for a start. Sorry bout that.

... but mad, if you look through Your Comps you'll find a thread by undecided called Yearly Naps tables which has some very basically interesting figs about runners
