I hope to see the usual people yet again, please sign in so I know how many new people to let in, as I want no more than 25. I'll be holding back spaces for the current competitors as I know some are away on holiday at the moment.
As for those who are unfamiliar with MANL, and are interested in participating, I have listed the rules of the competition in case you wish to join.
Rules
There are two big differences that define us from the bog standard NAP competition, and several other rules to ensure our competition is both uncomplicated and fair
1) You are allowed to take a price for a horse, and the results are only settled as SP if you decide to NAP a horse after the MIDDAY DEADLINE.
2) You won't be penalised for not putting up a NAP every day.
3) Price taking can only be taken with the conventional bookmakers e.g. NO exchange based service such as betfair, bodog
4) I treat all bookmakers as Best Odds Guaranteed to avoid any complications
5) I settle all Rule 4's on the current price of the select horse at the time of withdrawal to make it easier to keep track, this will be based on the LARGEST price of a single bookmaker at the time of withdrawal.
6) One whole season is the entire span of 12 months, e.g. October the 1st to September the 30th
7) All price taking for your NAP has to be done BEFORE NOON ON THE DAY OF THE RACE.. We do this to minimize any advantage between people who are/aren't around to take a price in the morning.
Although you won't be penalised from not putting up a NAP, I would expect competitors to be at least posting 15 days minimum. Moreover, it is unsporting to stop your usual betting behaviour if at the top of the table just in order to win a month.
I would also urge those who join up who may suffer a bad first month to stick on in there, it's not a sprint, and even if you find yourself behind in the overall race, every month is still started from £0.00.
Would be nice to see some new faces, and I'm more than happy to answer any questions on this thread or in a PM.

Hi Guys - new to posting though have followed this and the MANL thread from the beginning - not sure I can compete with some of the shrewdies on here but do like a bet on the horses and to give the bookies a bashing from time to time - though this is becoming increasingly more difficult with all the account restrictions and closures these days - have a more scattergun approach to gambling favouring e.w betting ( i know you're not a fan Ryanwe ) so picking a daily nap would be a good discipline for me and if there is space I would be happy to join in.
Welcome DrRob. Only reason why I'm not a fan EW betting myself, is largely due to the profile of horses I bet on, but no denying it can work for other people depending on their approach.
