general custers tip is shown as 2nd at 1/1
mine was second at 5/4 but doesn't show ?
and I have 2x zeroes previously were my horse was 3rd
but others have their 3rd places showing

Morning scissors/all - without looking at the full results from yesterday i`m certain yours was a 3 or 4 runner race where if a selection comes second or third i`ve always booked it as a loser ie under five runners. If there are between 5 & 7 runners and the selection comes second i book as second but not third place. Eight or over i book second and third. sixteen or over i only book second/third and not fourth. Hope that all makes sense.
My guidelines for placed horses in the form column:
Under five runners - second/third & fourth placed horses are shown as lost
Five/six & seven runner races - second place is shown as second, all others lost.
Eight runners and over - second and third places shown, no fourth in races with over sixteen runners.
Never mind about placed horses, its all about winners scissors ...... winners

I didn`t realise you could go back that far by just clicking on previous pages. I went back to 1974 and salmon was in the relegation zone then
