Another winner for Ardross66 as Sea Moon romped home at 3/1 to consolidate his position in the promotion zone, while seconds blazed a modest trail into the top 5 on another generally listless day. And well done too (and thank you) to Black Caviar, who came home by a whisker to keep his unbeaten record and help me stay where I am in the table. 
And now a word from our sponsor: to those who scorn odds-on picks I will say the following. This is a competition in which tactical napping can play a significant part. I will only note that one Reged, to the scorn of some of his peers, backed Black Caviar for an immodestly low return, but one that kept him (or me depending on which way you look at it) safely at No 3 while my top two rivals came back to me by both losing today. Trusty, for it is indeed he who is the purveyor of such scorn, went for a much more ambitious choice which - and I say this with considerable and genuine sadness - regrettably failed to perform. As, equally regrettably, have a number of his other ambitious naps. Trusty is in 29th place.
I may have lost my credibility, but I have not (yet) lost the race! I rest my case m'lud!
