Only twice  in his 19 race career has the horse carried less than 11st, so the 10st 2lb should feel like a walk in the park for this C& D winner.

southwell 1.50 rubi dia 16/1 bet 365 nap plenty of negatives but a massive positive is it's 1-1-2 out of 3 runs record here at southwell, has to be overpriced at the very least....

I did fancy Sona Sasta for the race but he run's in Ireland.... Carruthers as Chateau Pan points out is the class in the race, but in Heavy ground over 30F it's a big ask for any horse giving lumps of weight away to some potentially well treated horses like Le Beau Bai to name but 1.

I'm taking a massive chance on ONDS as he wasn't that far behind Le Beau Bai in his last hurdle spin. He now race's on the ground he excelled on in France, and has some top class form in heavy albeit over shorter. He did contest the Grand National in April, so connections obviously bought him with staying in mind, and due to some lacklustre run's on ground quicker than ideal can race off a 19lb lower mark than that of the National. The icing on the cake is Conor O'Farrell, who I have a lot of time for and seems to do well in these type of staying events for the stable, and with his claim this lad contests this event off a handy 10st03lbs..... If he has been laid out for this, 50-1 is surely too big?.
