DIVISION 2 SELECTIONS for SUNDAY (optional)

I was just about to do the table but I see we've got a LRF instruction so the table won't be up until the morning now.

For those of you new to this Division, there's a 2 hour time difference between here and the UK so the table often gets posted first thing in the morning, but I do try to keep it to a minimum. It's all subject to what time the last race is, and my social life.

14 winners which includes 5 hattrickerists: Tight, Red, ad, Kent and stealth.
Tightfisted's winner was enough to see him take the lead on Day 3.

Best price of the day was 7/2 Teaforthree napped by Ming_the_Merciless. He gains +12 places and the bottom rung of the Top 5.

Usually when quite a few of you all go for the same horse it seems to be an excellent reason to lay them, but on this occasion you'd have lost out. The 6 who went for 4/11 Al Ferof and the 5 who napped 11/8 Sizing Europe were all successful, some gaining more than others.

Well done all those winners.

Promotion Betting Comp Rules

The competition is about who you think will win promotion to Division 1 at the end of the month. (NOT who wins the Title)
The Title prices are there for interest's sake only. The prices you will be betting at are the ones in the TOP 5 column.
The winner will be the player with the highest total profit at the end of the month.

Each player will have £500 to bet with.

    - minimum bet £10
    - maximum bet in any one day on any one player £100
    - all bets must be exact multipes of £10
    - bet on the same player as many times as you like
    - bet on as many different players as you like (including yourself)
    - bet on as many different days as you like
    - no betting on the first day or the last day of the month
    - all bets must be placed by Midday (the start time of the first eligible race may be earlier in which case you may not bet on anyone whose selection for that day has already run)
    - any player who retires will be deemed to have crashed through the rails. i.e. No refunds

only1mill, I draw your attention to "maximum bet in any one day on any one player £100", so your request for £250 on pedro will be spread over 3 days.
£200 @ 10/1 has been placed; the remaining £50 will go on tomorrow at whatever price he is, unless you say otherwise.
You never know, he might get a 66/1 winner today and not be worth the trouble any more

I meant to add a special mention for raspberrybottom in the write-up.
He was only ¾ length away from landing a 33/1 shot. Good effort!
I almost feel guilty about napping the winner in that race. Almost!
