Musselburgh 3.30 Ocarina 25/1 Hills/Boyles
Won guy fawkes day last year off 1lb higher mark, blew cobwebs away over 3 miles on first run back from a break, now back to 2 1/2 miles & all three wins have come at this distance, only ever run twice at Musselburgh, winning & falling when holding every chance in the other, gone to new trainer who usually has lady jockey riding their horses but has Harry Haynes back on board who rode it for its last two wins, with the allowance he carries a lowly 10st 5lbs & seems more of a 12/1 shot to me.

Towcester 2.20 Inner Steel (tp) NAP
Well i thought this was going to be skinny but fc 7/1 by RP which if it is in the morning i will be very happy. Would have absolutely no doubt won last time if not for the soft fall at the last. In the run up to that he had travelled very smoothly and when joined had a little wander about but then went on again before the fall. Looked to me there was loads left and im sure this horse is well worth a mark higher than the 110 it is now. Running against a horse that got beat fair and square last time by a horse rated 119, but to much is being read into that run imo especially as Inner Steel is imo well up to a mark above that. The others are coming from points and will improve for the experience and Towc is a tricky track to jump at without any previous hurdle adventures under the belt. Questions will be asked about Inner Steels confidence but i think he will shake it of as id say he is a numb sod. Will make all again here and jump them into the ground, has the speed the pointers will lack and stamina a plenty for the hill. Left alone on the exchanges tonight we could get the 7/1 and pay for xmas early.
