Yearly standings after Round 13 of 16:

Another solid performance from the Each Way Thieves means an extended lead over Humbugs.
International Newbies and Racing Demons close in on Humbugs, could one of these three teams still mount a challenge to the Thieves?

The Rules

There will be 16 fortnightly rounds.
Each round and each week within rounds will begin on a Sunday and finish on a Saturday.
Each team will have 8 selections per week, one from each player, duplicate selections are allowed, no duplicate selections within teams at any time. Players must use their 1 selection per week, it cannot be carried over to the other week in the round.
10pts win or 5pts EW on British, Irish, French (as long as an industry SP is returned) or UAE racing and Breeder's Cup meeting, selected any day, Sunday through Saturday, the week ends on the last Saturday race.
Settled at SP, EW terms as industry standard.
Selections must be posted at least one hour before race time. On Saturdays there will be a 4pm cut-off for selections, that is you may pick in any race after that but it has to be posted by 4pm (1hr rule still applies).
Once you have posted a selection you are not allowed to change it or the stake, unless it becomes a non-runner or is a duplicate.
Non Runners - that team member may choose again for that week.

Team captains will be responsible for managing any wildcards required, there are no restrictions on their use, but please try and share them around so that no one individual is always claiming them. Please also name who the wildcard is for when posting.
If any player is absent for two weeks running without notice, they may be dropped from the comp.

Teams will start the week from a baseline of 0pts. This equates to 8 losing selections and/or non-selections.
Subsequent scores will be added to this baseline plus return of the winning part of the stake (10pts for win and EW winner, 5pts for EW placed). All scores count.
Scores will be accumulated through the fortnight, there will be no points awarded for weekly finishing positions.

Points structure for overall yearly comp:
Fortnightly winners will receive 8pts, runners-up - 7pts, 3rd - 6pts, 4th - 5pts, 5th - 4pts, 6th - 3pts, 7th - 2pts, 8th - 1pt
+ 8pts awarded at the end of the year for the best overall profit.

It's the Breeders Cup next weekend and you are welcome to select from that meeting on both the Friday and Saturday, industry SP will be used to settle.

I am also extending the cut-off for selections on next Saturday only to 8pm.

What drama!
Some great winners on the final day, including the late late show from Ming_the_Merciless and 20/1 EW big race winner Drosselmeyer, great substitute pick for miscreant man's disallowed duplicate, nice teamwork!
But Dunter's Punters claim a 2nd victory of the year with a couple of nice winners and a great total, congratulations!
Well done International Newbies in 2nd, just, from the Lucky Pin Club also a great total that would have won a lot of rounds but 3rd place it is.
Each Way Thieves finish 4th, just short of 200, and best score from earlier in the day was 16/1 EW winner Bonnie Brae, the dealer's first big win for the Humbugs.
