no sign of book or GEORGE yet. I'm off out in 10 mins - if no show by one or either then I'll look for a wildcard - has anyone else got anything in mind in case we need two?
By:
Going for Cry Fury in the Cambridgeshire. As we're off the pace, I'll make it a straight win.
Good luck |
By:
GL GEORGE - mine is win only as well and me too hoping for a bit of luck.
no show from book - I could pick Palazzo Bianco at Chetser later for a wildcard....?? Anyone any thoughts? |
By:
I've put up Palazzo Bianco as a wildcard for book - if he shows and picks all the better.
GL everyone. |
By:

By:
gone for Desert Law each way in the 4.25 Ascot
had a very good word on it's well being and will like the ground and trip finger crossed |
By:
Going for Absolute Shambles 4:50 Fontwell 10 pts win.
Backed it last time at Huntingdon & see nothing to stop a repeat today despite a rise in weight. |
By:
gone for dream eater 350 e.w,gl team
By:
My pick is Elzaam - 3.15 Asoct.
Good luck all |
By:
Gone for Wizz Kid in the Abbaye.
She beat Prohibit at Chantilly in June and I think almost certainly would have done again in the Nunthorpe with a clear run. She was obviously drawn on the wrong side at York and I fancy her to get a lot closer to Margot Did granted better luck in running. |
By:
Gone for Always et Toujours today - Catterick 3.30
It's front running style will suit and hope Fanning gets a soft lead and then cranks it up off the home turn. |
By:
didn't ever manage to lead and got trapped wide in a pretty rough race
By:
pena dorada 2.10 hexham ,looks well weighted -g/l all

Morning, Pins.
Anyone fancy anything they want to put up as a wild card for bb? Good luck to those still to pick. |
By:
Morning troops. Decided to go for Bronterre 3:10, 10 pts win.
GEORGE - i`ll be having a fiver on Peaks Of Fire 4:45, what do you & others think for a wild card. Also Validus in the 5:00 looks to have a good chance. Good luck today |
By:
Just went through the races and was about to put up Bronterre, but you've beaten me to it shane! Now its a choice between Noctural Affair or Caspar Netscher - I'll go for the former e/w.
Have no real view on Peaks of Fire's race, but I think Validus has two others to beat so I wouldn't be so keen on him. Just spotted the novice chase before Peaks of Fire runs - that's some race so early in the season. Happy for you to put up your pick for a wildcard shane, unless George or someone else has a view. Good luck guys. |
By:
Shane, please go with one of yours for the wildcard. Not had a chance to look yet, so happy for yourself to pick which one. Cheers.
By:
Peaks Of Fire is forecast to be the bigger price, and first run for Vaughan sounds like a good angle, so yeah, we'll put that up for beetysboy, if we are all agreed.
By:
You sure GOERGE, i`m not the best judge
Just a guesser with a pin ![]() |
By:
I`m backing Peaks Of Fire, just feel i should get a good run for my money at decent odds.
Will you post it GEORGE, unless you have a decent selection which i`ll be more than happy with. |
By:
gone with veiled 350 new,e.w,gl team
By:
I'll post yours up, Shane. I think wild cards are meant to be shared out equally (though obviously not always possible if a late call is needed). So it must your turn by now!
By:
Not putting this up as a tip, but at ridiculous odds (150 currently)I'll be having a £2 each-way on L Frank Baum in the Ces.
Not the best of draws and could use some more rain, but I thought he was quite impressive at Ffos Las under topweight in soft conditions. Won by 1.5L, but I thought he wasn't doing a tap in front. Clearly stays forever and I'm sure there'll be much worse 150 pokes in the course of a season. |
By:
Thanks GEORGE. certainly are worse 150 shots around, had a couple of quid w&p. Off out now, good luck all
By:
Hi guys, just reporting in now i'm back from me hols. I haven't got a clue what's been going on as we don't do tv, radio, papers or internet when we go away, so I've a lot of catching up to do - starting with a review of last weekends French racing..
By:
wb bettys, hope you had a good break
By:
Gone for Kissable, 5.20 Curragh, Win.
Good luck this week. |
By:
Unlucky George
By:
I was fairly optimistic she would reverse the form with What A Charm (which she did) which is why I took a chance and went for the win only rather than EW, but unfortunately the fav proved much too good.
A bit gutted as we could have had 16 pts for the place to kick the week off, which is better than nowt, but perhaps in the long term (if I ever manage to tip another winner in this comp'), unless tipping 16-1+ pokes, straight wins is the best strategy points wise. Unless of course we were leading and just needed a few more points to ensure the win. |
By:
I've gone for Midsummer Sun today at Nottingham. GL, Pins.
By:
I`ve gone for Mistoffelees 3:40, 10 pts win.
Good luck those to play this week. |
