Orchardist scored a beauty today. Raasekha did the business for him at Ascot at the very respectable price of 8/1.
That shoots him up 11 places into 3rd spot just 1p behind Andrew In Sweden who goes up into 2nd place courtesy of bosstipper whose selection unfortunately lost today.
Commiserations to IntheGroove at the bottom of the table who narrowly missed out on a 14/1 winner. That would have been enough to escape into 21st place.
Just seven days left to the end of the month. This means the last day falls on a Sunday which will of course be a compulsory day.
Very tight at the top. It's been a low-scoring month and the title & promotion slots are all wide open still. It promises to be a great battle.
The same goes for the fight to avoid relegation. Not much in it down at the bottom end, apart from IntheGroove who's well adrift. But as he's shown today, he's prepared to have a go at those bigger prices. It just needs one of them to come good on the day.
