I've seen some shorter ones (around 3's) which still seem value- and get totally overlooked! Can't remember the goldolfin horses name but he ran 3/4th to Rio dela Plata (also godolfin) but looked like he could've won/come closer anyway if it wasn't for Durcans riding a camal inpression. Then Dettorie rides it to victory after he said he would after winning on Redford in the Ayr gold cup. If you watched it youd see

Yes we do think alike then, and I'll put the 'career best' idea in a bit more in my thoughts.

chel 3.20 chester lad nap - went into my notebook after its 1st hexham win battling well to beat a very well fancied johnson horse and showed that was no fluke with impressive win there next ,time feel it is still way ahead of its rating and could well go off a false price due to current trainer form (altho imo charlton doing reasonably well for season)
chel 2.45 frontier dancer nb - twiston's chasers in great form this being a potential stable star and wouldnt expect it to be running in this class for a while

new 3.40 red cadeaux nap 10/1 ppower - has the look of always the bridesmaid but last run over cd was solid and should be ridden with a lot more confidence having proven its stamina, johnny takes the ride again and wont have to give lumps of weight away this time either,
the money lost last time should turn out to be only lent,
new 2.25 saamidd 5/1 ppower - not a lot more to be said that hasn't been discussed already, johnny to make the pace, bolger's to make 1st challenge, frankel to take it up 1.5f out but really think frankie will swoop and quicken folowed by customary dismount

kemp 4.00 naqam nap tp - feel certain they wont run it if its any slower than good but it looks like it could well be good to firm, won well over cd last year, no problems with fitness having won on its debut for last 2 years, going right handed on a flat track over 3m in class 4 seems to suit best and guess what it has here great chance imo
bath 5.20 broughton's swinger nb - this is usually musson's time of year with h/cappers, ground should suit as well as distance and would hope to see this one make all dropped in class

I really like the way he won on his hurdles debut. The form of the race isn't up to much, but he's obviously still learning and it's probably the 1st time where he was reasonably settled. Tricky race, but at 8/1 he could be anything, and I can't see any reason why they would step him up in trip unless he was going to improve further.

Stable has hit 2 winners from their last 5 runners, both of which were making their seasonal debuts. So hopefully he's fit enough to do himself justice.
