[>o] Stewpot.Do you agree that this current Team is even better than the 2007 Cup winning team ,we dont drop many midweek points which gives the saturday players a decent platform to operate from as opposed to 2007 when there was often a mountain to climb every saturday .
. |
|
By:
I think its helped us that a lot more of our guys are picking mid week & getting points on the board
when you have six or seven picking saturday you are restricted by not knowing how far away your target is with upto 50 players picking on a Saturday majority of tactic aspect removed and more likely that some late big winners will always arise where did you get your new face from ![]() |

Hear, Hear Che!!! I'm with you. I'm hoping Tingle was talking with his tongue in his cheek.........
When Billy starts going each way on the second fav in a five horse race I know we are not the team we were He's caught Tingle bug........!!I prefered the swashbuckling, unpredictable thieves to the boring, predictable type. In protest I'm therefore going to go back to 12/1 and above each way shots and I hope billy follows this lead because thats what he is best at. Not a criticism, Tingle, just my opinion! As I recall you could be were pretty swashbuckling too.........but I think you are getting old Captain, whats your view :) |

Guys I've gone in with Peter Tchaikosky EW in the first at York today. Huge price on here, and it looks like I'm throwing it away. But if the 1 draw is not unkind to the horse, I think its value in this handicap at such a massive price. With O'brien last year, its final run was in a 1 mile Listed race at Cork in which they had several runners. The race report reads:-
"slowly into stride and always towards rear" I saw a different race. The horse lost 10l at the start, but made up the lost ground and three out was going really well, when hampered. Then was hampered again 1 1/2 f out and the jockey eased up after. If the horse is fit this is no forlorn 200/1 shot. Today might not be the day, but if the 1 draw is a good draw, who knows a big place price might not be unrealistic. I'll probably have egg on my face when its tailed off but watch the Cork Listed race and tell me its not value at the price ![]() ![]() |
|
By:
Watch its 1st run this season you'd want 500/1

I will have to wait until David Cameron returns my book on
"How to run a Coalition Team" going from memory I sense a bit of de javu We have a common aim we just believe in achieving it by different means sure it would be ideal if everybody adopted same approach but we all like to play to 'our' strengths in an attempt to win and we have had more than a degree of success ![]() my own beliefs 7-2 & above e.w.anything less Win only my 'own' usual target is 40pts return (via 5-1+ e.w. or 3-1 Win ) but all above overridden if tactical score required ![]() I could promise you a place in the cabinet & a pension to die for if you can come up with a solution without a back bench revolt ![]() ![]() |

It will probably go and win today as well. Double figure prices from now on unless tactics need to be applied. Scoop 6 today anybody? Lets see if any thieves can nab it. You've got a mythical 3 grand to lay out. Sounds alot but 3 in each race comes to £2187! |
